Summer Report: A Season of Growth and Gratitude

By Caroline Warren | Fundraiser

This summer, we've been deeply focused on maintaining the well-being of the children and continuing our vital work in Barani Village. Our most significant expenditure has been on medical expenses for George, ensuring he receives the care he needs.

We’re thrilled to share that several children have graduated from college or university this year—Moses, George, Federand, and Topister from Jesus Healing Ministry (JHM), and Elizabeth from Mothers’ Vision (MV). These accomplishments are a testament to the resilience and hard work of these young individuals, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements.

We explored the potential installation of a biogas chamber at Jesus Healing Ministry to generate power using human waste. However, after careful consideration and expert consultation, we decided to forgo this project. The builder assessed the existing toilet system and concluded that it wasn’t suitable for biogas production, as the gas chamber would be filled with water. While not all projects come to fruition, we’re grateful for your readiness to support innovative ideas and will keep you informed of future initiatives.

At Barani Primary School, we've continued to make a significant impact. Thanks to your generosity, we've provided over 350 poor children with new school uniforms, giving them dignity and pride in their appearance. We've also supplied essential items like food, shoes, and sanitary parcels to promote health and education.

Lastly, we’re deeply thankful for the continued support you provide. It enables us to invest in the future of these children and the wider community, helping them to become self-reliant and empowered.

Together, we are creating brighter futures for the children of Kenya. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
