Dear Supporters,

Every year the Fundación supports more scholarship students, making the need for our auditorium more apparent. In 2022 we have 51 students. At the most recent student meeting, 39 students attended and filled the patio space.

We dream of many activities that we can offer our students to help prepare them for their future careers: workshops about writing an effective resume, preparation for job interviews, and computer training, particularly in Excel.

Another dream is adult education, something that currently doesn't exist in Nicaragua. We would love to offer talks on interesting topics and practical education such as accounting for small businesses, or handicrafts.

Your generous support of our poject will help bring these dreams to reality.

Dear GlobalGiving family,

This year Fundación A. Jean Brugger partnered with another organization to host a Youth at Risk program, with the goal of helping local youth who are at risk of dropping out of high school or beginning to use drugs. The program included meetings with a social worker, guitar lessons, and training in motorcycle repair, all of which took place in our patio!

We rented a large tent to give protection from the sun and rain, but how much better for everyone if we could have held these activities in our auditorium!

This is why we dream of building the auditorium, so we can continue providing this kind of important program in San Juan del Sur.

With your help we will be able to make this a reality! Thank you for your continued support of Fundación A. Jean Brugger, and our educational and community projects.

Dear GlobalGiving family,

One of the principal uses for the future Auditorium will be student meetings. We currently have 50 scholarship students and in the photo you can see a recent meeting with about three-quarters of the students in attendance. How wonderful it will be not to have to worry about rain when we plan a meeting--you can see the awning we have isn't big enough for everyone to fit under.

With the Auditorium we will also be able to provide workshops for our students. We dream of being able to provide our scholars additional life skills, like job interview preparation, personal finance training, and improved writing skills.

With your help we will be able to make all of this a reality! Thank you for your continued support of Fundación A. Jean Brugger, and our educational and social community projects.
