Help us Build an Auditorium

Dear supporters,

This year we have some wonderful ideas for workshops for our scholarship students and the community at large.

Our scholarship program coordinator has suggested these for 2026:

• Emotional intelligence
• Public speaking
• Managing personal finances
• Writing a CV and preparing for job interviews

This is the kind of programming we want to develop for the benefit of the local community; an auditorium would make the workshops so much more comfortable!

Last week we welcomed the 11 new scholarship students for 2026 in our patio. Because it is the dry season we didn't have to worry about rain for the welcome ceremony. The auditorium will allow us to schedule events without worrying about rain, and allow us to hold events in the evening.

Dear Supporters,

We had hoped to start construction on our auditorium this year, but the challenges of working in a developing country keep throwing up challenges. 

Recently we organized a day-long workshop for our scholarship students in their final year of university, with the goal of helping them find good jobs when they graduate. The workshop covered topics such as writing a resume and job interview skills. Nineteen students participated, and sadly we had to rent a meeting room at a local restaurant, as our patio did not provide the proper environment for the workshop. 

One day, with your support, we will be able to host these important programs for our students in our own facilities.
