This project will fund the first school building for Light and Hope School in rural Uganda, providing quality education for 60 vulnerable children. More than a school, it will offer a safe place to learn, grow, and build hope for the future. Education empowers children to break the cycle of poverty, creating lasting change for their families and the entire community for generations to come.
In Buyaga, a rural community in Uganda, access to quality education remains a major challenge. Many children attend overcrowded schools, walk long distances to reach a classroom, or never enroll at all because there are not enough affordable, high-quality educational opportunities close to home. Without education, children are less likely to gain the knowledge and skills needed to break the cycle of poverty, reducing their chances of stable employment and economic independence.
By building Light and Hope School, we will give 60 vulnerable children the opportunity to learn grow. It will offer a safe and inspiring learning environment where children can develop the knowledge, critical thinking, and practical skills they need to succeed. In addition to quality education, the school will provide daily nutritious meals, helping children stay healthy, focused, and ready to learn.
By investing in their education today, we are helping to break the cycle of poverty and creating opportunities that will benefit not only the children themselves but also their families and future generations. Our long-term vision is not only to educate children but to equip a new generation with the confidence and opportunities to become leaders, professionals, and changemakers who will strengthen their families and contribute to the development of their community.
