Our pioneer girls and mothers are back for the 3rd and last term of their one-year vocational training at Tumaini. The girl's dorm is hosting 17 girls. 5 of them are young mothers with 5 babies. Additionally, we have 3 day-schooling young mothers from the local community who come with their babies because they cannot afford babysitters and need vocational training to gain employment. The daycare becomes handy in taking care of the 3 babies during the day as their mothers train in their chosen vocational course. In total, the daycare takes care of 8 babies. The daycare facility is part of the Girl's dorm.
We are still fundraising for outside playground facilities like swings and slides for the children to enjoy and play as their mothers are undertaking vocational training.
Thank you so much for your continued support. Kindly continue with your support to change the lives of street teen mothers and their children.
