We have been busy, with the end of year and planning for next, we are excited for what it entails!
During November we were able to give the veterinary infrastructure its first use with a sterilisation campaigns. We used the shelters which will be used for donkeys in the future, as a makeshift roof for the temporary surgery tables and the kennels were used for recovering the animals.
In two mornings (it was more than 40 degrees by 12pm so we decided to call it a day), we managed 26 sterilisations. Thankfully having the locals pitching in to give us a hand we were able to get through as many as we did.
Imagine what we could do in the future, with a fully functional clinic!
