Under Construction

By Laura Portier-LaLumiere | Director of Development

Thank YOU for helping build the new Club!
Thank YOU for helping build the new Club!

We're making great progress on construction of the new Boys & Girls Club at Golden West College and expect to be open and helping kids and families by the end of the year!

The new Boys & Girls Club will serve more than 1,500 children each year. YOUR support is what makes it all possible! By supporting this project:

  • You are providing kids with year-round homework help, tutoring, STEM programs and technology access to help them succeed in school.
  • You are giving kids a safe space to grow, discover and create.
  • You are helping kids stay fit and healthy with sports leagues, fitness, cooking and nutrition classes.
  • You are helping kids explore their unique interests, whether it’s through participation in the Lego Engineers Club, community service clubs such as Torch Club, the Fine Arts Club or something completely brand new!
  • You are giving parents peace of mind, knowing that their children are loved and cared for while they’re busy at work or in school.
  • You are inspiring kids to go to college and helping moms and dads go back to school and complete their own education.

Our CEO Tanya Hoxsie says, “We are thrilled that the project will finally be finished this year. We will be able to serve kids from diapers to graduation all at one site! With the special location on a community college campus, moms and dads will be able to go back to school with on-campus care for their kids. And, kids who grow up on a college campus will learn to see going to college as a natural next step after high school.”

9-year-old Club member Kevin says he loves coming to one of our current on-campus programs that will be housed at the new Club because, "I'd never seen a college campus before." Your support opens kids' eyes to the possibility of a college education. Not just as something to dream about, but as something real that they can accomplish. The finished Boys & Girls Club Family Campus will change the lives of so many families for the better. Families will learn, grow, get stronger and achieve great futures - all because of you and your support.

Please consider making a gift today and sharing this project with your friends to help open the door to a new Boys & Girls Club and a great future for thousands more kids like Kevin!
