It’s encouraging to see the progress made throughout 2026 as we continue strengthening the long-term impact of the handwashing stations already in place. Over the past few months, our work has focused on turning what we’ve learned from schools into simple, practical systems that can be maintained locally. Continued conversations with teachers and staff have helped us identify the routines that work best, where additional support is helpful, and how responsibility for cleaning, refilling, and basic maintenance can be shared more clearly within each school. These lessons are now helping shape a more consistent approach for future installations. Rather than focusing only on providing a handwashing station, we are building a model that includes clearer guidance, stronger follow-up, and practical steps schools can use to keep each station functioning well over time. We are also beginning to apply these insights as we prepare to reach additional rural schools. The goal is to make each new installation easier to manage from the start, while ensuring that schools feel equipped to take ownership of the station as part of their everyday routines. As we move through the remainder of the year, our focus remains on strengthening what is already working, improving the areas that need more support, and creating a sustainable foundation for responsible growth.
