This project will build 10 safe shelters in Ghana to provide temporary housing and protection for refugees and displaced families facing hardship and instability. Many refugees live in overcrowded or unsafe conditions with limited access to secure shelter, sanitation, and basic services. This project will help provide safe living spaces that protect vulnerable individuals and families while restoring dignity and stability during times of crisis.
Refugees and displaced families in Ghana often struggle with inadequate shelter due to limited humanitarian resources and growing displacement challenges. Many families are exposed to harsh weather conditions, poor sanitation, insecurity, and health risks while living in temporary or overcrowded settlements. Children, women, and the elderly are especially vulnerable.
This project will construct 10 refugee shelters equipped with basic living spaces and access to sanitation facilities. The shelters will provide safer accommodation for vulnerable families while supporting improved living conditions and protection for displaced individuals. Community support and humanitarian coordination will help ensure effective use of the shelters.
The project will improve safety, dignity, and wellbeing for refugee families and displaced individuals in Ghana. Beneficiaries will have more secure living conditions and better protection from environmental and health risks. Over time, the project will strengthen humanitarian response efforts and support social stability for vulnerable populations.
