In 2021, we will continue advancing our anti-trafficking work by leveraging those who have the greatest power to end this atrocity, by strategically expanding our relationships with key ambassadors, diplomats, members of parliament and international organizations representing 193 nations at the United Nations. Including the following activities:

  • Training government leaders and civil society organizations how to eliminate legislation, policies and laws that hinder the ability of police/prosecutors/judges to prosecute and convict pedophiles/human traffickers and their accomplices, while freeing more victims - as effective laws and their uncompromising enforcement play an irreplaceable role in abolishing human trafficking.
  • Reforming national justice systems by recommending new legislation and/or eliminating existing legislation that strengthens the justice system to increase human trafficking convictions. Legal reform plays a vital role in abolishing human trafficking;
  • Training government lawmakers, law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, and civil society organizations how to create local citizen-based initiatives that will help law enforcement and prosecutors convict more pedophiles/human traffickers and their accomplices.

We will also continue to spread awareness about slavery prevention in different villages. In January 2021, a Transformational Community Development (TCD) leader in DG Village, Kenya, was able to speak about the importance preventing human trafficking through awareness and education. There is an illiteracy problem in the community, which can cause a high risk of human trafficking. Now, women and men in the community are aware and able to see the warning signs of human trafficking.

We cannot do this alone. My hope is to build a committed team of 75 people willing to financially commit to partnering with us at the level of $1200 per year ($100 per month). This team will make it possible for us to advance our anti-trafficking work to the highest levels of influence to end human trafficking and victimization. As you may not know, our anti-trafficking advocacy work is 100% privately funded by generous partners like you.

Thank you for making it possible!

I am happy to inform you I have now moved to Geneva, Switzerland, so we can further advance our anti-trafficking work at the United Nations (UN).

As GHNI’s Chief UN Representative, I will now be able to further build and expand trust relationships with key ambassadors, UN diplomats, members of parliament and business leaders representing 193 nations. Geneva is also home to 15 major UN Agencies, 25 inter-governmental organizations, 229 diplomatic missions, 569 multinational companies, and 250 non-governmental organizations - so that we can advance the following anti-trafficking activities:

  • Train government leaders and civil society organizations how to eliminate legislation, policies and laws that hinder the ability of police/prosecutors/judges to prosecute and convict pedophiles/human traffickers and their accomplices, while freeing more victims - as effective laws and their uncompromising enforcement play an irreplaceable role in abolishing human trafficking;
  • Reform national justice systems by recommending new legislation and/or eliminating existing legislation that strengthens the justice system to increase human trafficking convictions. Legal reform plays a vital role in abolishing human trafficking;
  • Training government lawmakers, law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, and civil society organizations how to create local citizen-based initiatives that will help law enforcement and prosecutors convict more pedophiles/human traffickers and their accomplices.

You may or may not know this, but our anti-trafficking advocacy work is 100% privately funded by generous partners like you. GHNI is a privately funded, international, non-political, non-religious, (501c3) non-profit development organization dedicated to helping those who are hidden and hurting around the world.

We simply must to ensure more protection for women and children, especially those who cannot defend themselves from sexual predators and human traffickers! The number of these predators seem to be increasing at an alarming rate internationally, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic..

Geneva is home to 15 major UN Agencies, 25 inter-governmental organizations, 229 diplomatic missions, 569 multinational companies, and 250 non-governmental organizations. The Palais des Nations welcomes more than 25,000 delegates (significant international leaders) every year.

Geneva is the best place for us to leverage those who have the greatest power to end this atrocity!

Due to the COVID pandemic, our ability to minister has been diminished, however many are still desperate for basic daily needs, as well as birth certificates.  We encourage your giving as we will take action as soon as travel and interaction open back up.  Our team on the ground is ready to move as funds become available to begin this important work to reduce vulnerability to slavery and human trafficking.

Charlie has been able to schedule his move to the Geneva, Switzerland area, just over the border in more affordable France, so he can interact at the United Nations serving under his consultative status for the prevention of human trafficking and slavery.  He plans to move in August 2020.  Our hope is we can plan a trip to Indonesia by the end of 2020 or early 2021 to launch the next smart car - if funding and the pandemic allow.

A life changing document
A life changing document

Charlie recently returned from Indonesia and experienced great success in helping provide birth certificates for children living in rural communities who might not otherwise have access to education and other tools that help prevent risk to slavery and trafficking.

We are working on expanding this project to reach further into Indonesia's Island communities where travel is difficult and many more are waiting for documentation.

Through the purchase of smart car vans, we can take legal volunteers, teachers and health trainers to these rural communities to increase their opportunities for a better future.  Our hope is to establish a long term relationship with the community leaders, engaging them further toward sustainable development for their villages.

Please consider helping this truly underserved population!  Your gifts WILL impact lives.
