The UnLearning Children Foundation has had a year of discovery, growth and expoloration that continued to see the lives of young people positively impacted.
From hosting a mental health workshop (UnLearning Day) at a school in a resource-deprived school, to counselling learners with presenting challenges - as refered by educators - we continue to be proud and amazed at the impact our work makes.
Our work continue to present fascinating insights that will spearhead greater and more strategic support including male identifying children as our most high-demand group and the most persistent presenting issue being 'self-esteeem'. This points to a clear need for the African child that is directly tied to socities challenges impacting the young person's view on their mental wellbeing and emotional regulation.
Due to a lack of support, the foundation's activities have halted during the 2026 calendar year. We are confident that we should be resuming activities soon, with the support of partners with a mental health support directive.
Please access the attached report for all our activities in the past reporting years (2024 - 2026).
Thank you.
