We were incredibly honored to be chosen as GlobalGiving’s Project of the Month in October 2016! Your donations made it possible for us to begin rolling out 3-year SIMA Classroom access to 27 Ashoka Changemaker Schools, reaching 677 educators and over 14,000 students nationally. Other exciting updates to SIMA Classroom:

• Since the election, stories of prejudice in U.S. classrooms have been haunting our inboxes and newsfeeds like never before. To help combat this intolerance, and foster the values of peace, respect and cultural diversity, we launched our #TeachingTolerance giveaway and provided 100 U.S. educators with free access to SIMA Classroom.
• SIMA Classroom has moved to facebook! In November we launched a collaborative global educators facebook club for educators to exchange ideas, lesson plans, and resources.
• Our website is getting a face lift! Next week, the SIMA Classroom streaming platform will have a whole new look.

As we enter 2017, we are in the midst of SIMA’s awards season and are currently selecting the best, most current, educational and impactful films to join SIMA Classroom. We can’t wait to share them with you!
