Introduction
This program is not just about numbers; it is about lives at stake every single year. In remote parts of Nigeria, women are battling HIV and TB without access to treatment, facing social stigma that isolates them, and enduring abandonment at their most vulnerable moments.
One such case is Rukila, who lost two of her triplets and her support system. With timely care and community support through CHISTRE, survival became possible, but her third baby remains sick. This story reflects the urgent need for sustained intervention.
Funding Status
Despite our tireless efforts in our own small ways to raise funds, we have not been able to secure adequate financial support. The gap remains overwhelming, and without additional assistance, our ability to continue providing life-saving care is severely limited.
Challenge
Women in Nigeria’s remote communities face compounded vulnerabilities:
Our recent intervention in Rakama community highlights these challenges. A woman, after testing positive for TB and HIV, delivered triplets but tragically lost two babies and was abandoned by her husband. With donor support, she received medical and psychosocial care, but her case underscores the urgent need for more resources.

Appeal to GlobalGiving
We are pleading with GlobalGiving to kindly consider supporting us more. Despite our determination and efforts, the funding gap remains vast. Without your increased support, many women and children will continue to suffer preventable deaths and hardships.
Your partnership can transform lives, restore hope, and ensure that survival becomes possible for women in Nigeria’s most vulnerable communities.
