Support Vulnerable Women and Children in Need

Report on Our GlobalGiving Fundraising Campaign When we launched our project on the #GlobalGiving# platform to raise funds for bridging the health gap in remote villages of Bauchi State, we did so with deep compassion and urgency. The communities we serve face significant challenges in accessing healthcare, particularly mothers and children. Many women walk long distances sometimes for hours just to reach a health facility, only to find that essential services or medications are unavailable. Pregnant women often deliver their babies at home without skilled birth attendants, increasing the risks of complications. These harsh realities drove us to seek support through GlobalGiving. Before the "Little by Little" campaign, we actively engaged our networks. We sent out numerous messages on social media, personally reached out to friends and family, and consistently shared updates on all our digital platforms to mobilize support. Despite our efforts, the freezing of USAID funding posed a significant challenge to our project. However, the #GlobalGiving# platform provided a crucial lifeline. Prior to the campaign, we had also received the Organization of the Month donation from GlobalGiving, which further strengthened our resolve. During the campaign, our team worked tirelessly posting updates, sharing impact stories, and reaching out to potential donors. The experience was both exciting and rewarding. Seeing donations come in was a moment of great joy and encouragement for us. To our surprise, we successfully raised over $2,000, including matched funds. This was our first time participating in such a campaign, and it was a valuable learning experience. We Still Need Your Support!
