Ending Period Poverty in Busoga. Our First Step, Thanks to You!
Last week, the Students Support and Philanthropy Program (SSPP) received its first-ever donation fromGlobalGiving, following the incredible support from donors who participated in our online fundraiser that ran through September 30th, 2025.
Last weekend, we proudly turned that generosity into impact!
Our team held the first training session to end period poverty in Busoga, reaching 30 girls with practical skills, open conversations on menstrual health, and the distribution of menstrual hygiene products donated through the GlobalGiving campaign.
The day was filled with hope, knowledge, and empowerment, reaffirming our belief that no girl should miss school or feel left behind because of her period.
We are deeply grateful to our donors, partners, and community members who made this possible. But this is only the beginning, we still need your help to reach more girls in Busoga through our now monthly menstrual health and hygiene awareness training.
Join us in the movement to end period poverty:
Every dollar counts.
Together, we can create a world where every girl thrives with dignity and confidence.
