Project Report | Dec 4, 2023
One more year betting on education!

By Ana Lucia Juarez | Development Director

We are very happy to finish another year of studies for our 530 students in the three NDG schools.
We share with you some of the progress we have made:

  • In the area of reading: increase in reading comprehension by 40%, more students reading recreationally.
  • In mathematics: this year we had more class periods, every day solving a problem; more interest in the class on the part of the students, they enjoyed the math rally: more agility in solving the activities presented.
  • In the English program: in first and second grade the progress was not as significant as it was in the older grades, an action plan is being developed to help first and second grade students.

These are some examples of the three areas we are focusing on in order to level our students after COVID.

Without a doubt, it has been a year of much growth and a year in which we were able to return to educational normality, with many challenges, but also with very good results, especially due to the positive response of the students, families and teaching staff.

Thank you for being part of this wonderful process of giving our students the tools to break the cycle of poverty through education!
