If you look at the photo in this report, amid the heat of the St. Anthony bakery and the dusting of flour, you will meet Fadi’s gaze. You already know how vital this project is for Aleppo, but today we wanted to introduce you to the hands and hearts making it happen every day. Fadi is one of our 11 team members, but he is first and foremost a young university student.
In a Syria crushed by staggering inflation, where even a single kilogram of bread has become an unattainable luxury for the poorest families, pursuing university education feels like an impossible dream. This job at the bakery is Fadi's lifeline. It provides him with a dignified income to pay for his tuition and, most importantly, a concrete reason to stay and not flee his homeland.
Every day, as he kneads and bakes bread destined for orphanages, hospitals, and the elderly, Fadi is doing more than helping his community survive: he is reclaiming his own future.
By supporting this project, you are doing far more than distributing food. You are funding Fadi’s education and investing in the reconstruction of tomorrow's Syria.
Thank you for being by our side.
