Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the Boys & Girls Club of the South Coast Area has been able to pivot to meet the changing needs of the children and families we serve because of the support of people and organizations like you. Most recently, your generosity allowed us to operate a virtual learning academy for children participating in online education while their parents were at work. For many families, virtual learning not only posed a challenge because of the parents' need to work, but for many, lack of technology, internet access, and language barriers were also an issue. With your support, we were able to set up distanced classrooms to enable 60 children from 8 different schools to be successful in their online education. We have since also reopened our after school program with reduced capacity, for kids once in-person class resumed. Families rely on us to care for their children, and because of you, we have continued to meet their needs during this challenging time. Thank you!
