We returned from vacation with renewed energy to start this new semester. During the months of August to October, we have been invited to participate in 21 service fairs, universities, and agencies in different towns of the island promoting the work and services of Casa sin Fronteras. It has been a very pleasant experience to be able to meet so many supportive and generous people eager to share the good of the communities. We were also proud to find some of the entrepreneurs trained by our Emprende Academy offering their products in some of the activities. We were invited by Colmena66 to the Boricua Emprende Fest 2026 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, where we were able to have an information table and disseminate our work and reach a wider and more entrepreneurial audience.
On October 3rd we started a new cycle of Emprende Academy workshops with a group of participants diverse in age and business ideas. For the first time, in addition to the 18 entrepreneurs, we have a group of 8 children of various ages, sons and daughters of the participants. We have created a space for them too, so that their parents can take advantage of this learning experience with the peace of mind that their children are well taken care of.
We thank the sponsors of this new cycle of Emprende Academy, the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture and the National Endowment for the Arts. And above all, to you, our collaborators who make our work possible.
