Hi'lum Antsetic (Women of Sand)
The community of Pinabetal produced and marketed 150 scented candles in December, through a sale we held in December. In addition, we are excited to share that they already have a physical space to install their production workshops.
This year they will focus a lot on large-scale production and quality in production.
Ajaw Chab (Lord of Honey)
This company of the Capulín community, formed by 8 women and 7 men, continued with the care of the hives that were delivered in the past period. The members of the group have worked on the conditioning of the space where the packaging of the honey will be carried out and soon the creation of products derived from it.
Yo'tante' (wooden heart)
In the community of San Jerónimo Tulijá, representatives of the business group of 15 women visited Puebla, where they had the opportunity to exchange experiences with long-standing cooperatives such as Tosepan Titataniske, Tosepan Tomin, Tosepan Bambú, Tosepan Kali, Taselotzin and Qualli. in addition to visiting the Institute of Design and Technological Innovation of the Universidad Ibero Puebla to familiarize yourself with the tools you use to create your products.
Savings groups
We promote 6 savings groups, one for each community, and for this we train them around the election of management committees, the establishment of savings goals, the management of formats to record savings and the calculation of loans and interest, In October 2022, the group of San Jerónimo Tulijá concluded its first year of savings with the participation of 18 women and excellent results since 89% of the participants achieved exceed 70% of your goal.
Additionally, the members of the group will decide to invest their social fund – money collected from fines for delays, absences, or loss of the personal savings card – in pantries for patients in the community, which they delivered in November 2022.
Similarly, in the community of Pinabetal, the year of savings ended with 11 of the 12 participants exceeding their goal. All the members decided to participate in a second cycle, in which they extended the invitation to more women in their community, and which began on March 4.
Soon we will have the closures of the first year of savings in the rest of the communities.

En general
Durante este período continuamos con talleres de fortalecimiento grupal con cada uno de los tres grupos emprendedores, además de comenzar el aprendizaje en temas de marketing y uso de redes sociales con la intención de posicionar sus marcas e iniciar la comercialización de los hermosos productos que elaboran. También queremos compartirte que tanto la comercializadora, como los emprendimientos ya cuentan con registro ante el Instituto Mexicano de la Propiedad Industrial (IMPI)
Junto al impulso de emprendimientos productivos, se iniciaron grupos de ahorro y préstamo solidario, para que puedan hacer frente a sus gastos sin endeudarse gravemente.
Hi'lum Antsetic (Mujeres de Arena)
El colectivo de la comunidad de Pinabetal produjo y comercializó 150 velas aromáticas en diciembre, a través de una venta que realizamos en el mes de diciembre. Además, nos emociona compartir que ya cuentan con un espacio físico para instalar sus talleres de producción
Este año se enfocarán con fuerza en la producción a gran escala y la calidad en la producción.
Ajaw Chab (Señor de la Miel)
Este emprendimiento de la comunidad Capulín, formado por 8 mujeres y 7 hombres, continuó con el cuidado de las colmenas que se entregaron en el periodo pasado. Los integrantes del grupo han trabajado en acondicionar el espacio donde se llevará a cabo el envasado de la miel y próximamente la creación de productos derivados de la misma.
Yo'tante' (corazón de madera)
En la comunidad de San jerónimo Tulijá, representantes del grupo emprendedor de 15 mujeres visitaron Puebla, donde tuvieron la oportunidad de intercambiar experiencias con cooperativas de larga trayectoria como Tosepan Titataniske, Tosepan Tomin, Tosepan Bambú, Tosepan Kali, Taselotzin y Qualli, además de visitar el Instituto del Diseño e Innovación Tecnológica de la Universidad Ibero Puebla para familiarizarse con las herramientas que utiliza para crear sus productos.
Grupos de ahorro
Impulsamos 6 grupos de ahorro, uno por cada comunidad, y para ello los capacitamos en torno a la elección de comités administrativos, el establecimiento de metas de ahorro, el manejo de formatos para registrar el ahorro y el cálculo de préstamos e intereses, En octubre 2022, el grupo de San Jerónimo Tulijá concluyó su primer año de ahorro con la participación de 18 mujeres y excelentes resultados ya que el 89% de las participantes lograron superar el 70% de su meta.
Adicionalmente, los integrantes del grupo decidirán invertir su fondo social -dinero juntado a partir de multas por retardos, inasistencias o pérdida de la cartilla de ahorro personal- en despensas para enfermos de la comunidad, que entregaron en noviembre de 2022.
Del mismo modo, en la comunidad de Pinabetal se concluyó el año de ahorro con 11 de 12 participantes rebasando su meta. Todas las integrantes decidieron participar en un segundo ciclo, en el que extendieron la invitación a más mujeres de su comunidad y que iniciará el 4 de marzo.
Próximamente tendremos los cierres del primer año de ahorro en las comunidades restantes.
