The program in Caicó has been dedicated to promoting healthy habits among children, adolescents, and families, focusing on food education and nutritional security. Recently, 56 fruit kits were distributed to 25 vulnerable families, benefiting a total of 125 individuals. The initiative was complemented by educational sessions led by nutritionist Leonardo Giovanni, addressing topics such as the benefits of fruits, hydration, and the importance of a balanced diet.
The activities also included practical moments, such as fruit tastings and guidance on how to incorporate them into daily life, especially in contexts with limited resources. Families reported increased awareness of healthy food choices and highlighted the positive impact of the knowledge gained on their overall health and well-being. Additionally, the program’s continuous presence strengthens community ties, fostering long-lasting change.
This initiative reflects the program's commitment to addressing food insecurity and supporting the holistic development of the children and adolescents it serves. The support of partners like Herbalife Nutrition is vital to sustaining actions like this, which transform lives and create a healthier future for all.
Thank you for your generous donation supporting impactful actions like these that truly make a difference in people's lives!
