To our donors: your generosity and support have been greatly appreciated.
The Between the Lines project has been very busy over the winter, sending out 68 holiday shipments of books and CDs from its previous readings at Coffee Creek and Santiam Correctional Facilities. In January, a second reading was held at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility – sending books and CDs to 48 children. Another reading is scheduled in April.
The Between the Lines project continues to work on expanding its reach to more and more deployed or deploying parents within the Oregon National Guard. A tentative reading has been set for May.
A book fair is scheduled for April 22nd, in partnership with Barnes and Noble, to help purchase more books for future readings.
