M'Lop Tapang has been working with disadvantaged children, youth and families of Sihanoukville since 2003. We currently work with over 5000 children and 3000 families providing shelter, medical care, sports and arts, education and training, counseling, family support and protection from all types of abuse.
Children living in poverty often lack access to appropriate health care, adequate nutrition and food security, and educational opportunities. Street working and street living children and families are the most vulnerable in the community, exposed to street and gang violence, child abuse, drug use and isolation from their peers as well as the community at large.
M'Lop Tapang strives to provide a safe haven for the street children of Sihanoukville, offering care and support to any child at risk. We offer access to education and training, reintegration with families, and creative and recreational activities, while ensuring protection from all forms of abuse.
