Bedding for a Safe House

Thank you so much for your support with this project.

When the families arrive with us they have all fled from very dangerous situations. They can no longer be kept safe where they are so have to move to another part of the country and try to start to build a new life.

Some families have fled with little or no notice so some arrive with just the clothes they are wearing to a strange town.They are safe finally.

To be able to provide them with brand new bedding does not solve their problems but it does hopefully make them feel cared for and that they matter.

Clean beds are only a small part of what we do but it is an important part.

From day one they at the very least have a safe roof over their heads, clean fresh bedding as they start to build their new lives with their children.

Thank you for all of your kindness and generosity so far. In the current climate it is more important than ever for us to gain support. We have a cost of living crisis which means that people have even less money available to help those less fortunate than themselves.

When the families have been with us 6 months they move on and hopefully start their new lives in new accomodation. The bedding paid for by people like you goes with them.

We still have new families arriving with us all the time.so the new for new bedding etc is ongoing.

All of the families with us have fled from Domestic Abuse so a clean and confortabkle bed will not make everything right but will be a step in the right direction by making them feel valued and cared for.
