Dear Supporter,
Thank you so much for your help so far with this project.
The famiies who arrive with us have all fled from situations where they can no longer be kept safe from their perpetrators. They arrive from a different part of the country, Children have to leave schools, friends and their support network.
Arriving in one of our safe houses must be very disorientating for both Mothers and the children.
To be able to provide brand new bedding and towels etc for them is just one step to reminding them of their self worth. As we start to rebuild their self esteem starting with warm beds is just the begining.
Our clients stay with us for up to 6 months. Hopefully at the end they are offered permanent accomodation. At the very least they have their own bedding and towels to take with them.
