Hi,
thank you to you all for your kindness so far towards our project.
When families arrive with us having fled dangerous Domestic Abuse we provide them with brand new bedding. This used to be something that we received funding for but like with so many other things this funding has now stopped completely.
Some of our families arrive with nothing other than the clothes they are wearing so making them comforable as soon as possible is so very important to us.
When they leave us after 6 months they take the bedding with them. This means that they at least have bedding for them to take when they start their new lives.
The last few months have been so hard for so many people. Kindness from people like you have meant that we have been able to continue to support our clients. We have been very lucky to not have to close the doors to rither of our safe houses which is largely down to the dedication of our amazing staff team.
