BECOME A PLAYER: For Every Child in Kosovo

Because of you, something truly meaningful is growing across Kosovo.

Over the past months, your support has helped PLAY International continue its mission to ensure that every child, regardless of ability, has the chance to play, learn, and feel included. In classrooms and schoolyards, we are seeing change. Children who once felt left out are now part of the game. Teachers are opening their spaces to every student. And slowly, step by step, a more inclusive culture is taking root.

Today, we are excited to share an important milestone.

Thanks to the strong commitment of our partners, EBRD Community Initiative has matched €50,000 to support this initiative. This is not just funding. It is a powerful signal that inclusive education and play matter, and that together, we can go further.

With this support, we are now preparing the next phase of the project.

In the coming weeks, PLAY International will begin organizing training sessions for primary school teachers across Kosovo. These trainings will focus on simple, practical ways to include children with disabilities in sports and play. Teachers will learn how to adapt games, create safe spaces, and encourage every child to participate with confidence.

At the same time, we are preparing the distribution of sports equipment to schools that need it most, ensuring that teachers have the tools to turn learning into active, joyful experiences.

This work is ongoing. And it is needed more than ever.

Many children in Kosovo still face barriers to participation. Many schools still lack resources. And too many children with disabilities are still left on the sidelines.

But together, we are changing that. We are building classrooms where differences are accepted. We are helping children grow with confidence and dignity.

And we are not stopping here.
