San Mateo Residence provides care for dependent and independent individuals with physical or mental illnesses. We support people of all ages who require 24-hour care. Our goal is to provide support to people in vulnerable situations. To achieve this, we are seeking companies and philanthropists who can support us with donations to cover the costs of professional services, maintenance, and medical care.
According to INEGI, in 2022 in Mexico, the percentage of the population over 60 years of age was almost 14%, and an increase in diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, which are more common among older adults, has been observed. Furthermore, the number of people with neurodegenerative diseases is also on the rise due to the current pace of life. Many families lack the knowledge or financial resources to afford 24/7 care services, and these services are not provided by the government.
With the help of DIF (National System for Integral Family Development), we will locate homeless, abused, or vulnerable individuals and offer them a place in our home. We will acquire additional medical equipment to improve care. We will cover basic expenses such as rent, electricity, water, television, food, personal hygiene products, diapers, medications, clinical tests, etc. Additionally, we will hire more qualified staff to care for people in need.
The project lasts for one year and our goal is to house at least 5 people in vulnerable situations, providing them with all the services to improve their quality of life.
