We continue working towards strengthening the UNPADE bakery workshop, an initiative that seeks to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities by providing them with specialized training in baking, packaging, sales, and communication. The goal is to create a sustainable and inclusive work environment that fosters economic and social independence.
People with intellectual disabilities often face barriers to employment, including limited vocational training and a lack of inclusive workspaces. This project is designed to overcome these obstacles by equipping the workshop with the necessary tools, enhancing training programs, and expanding market opportunities for their baked goods.
While the initiative has received initial support, we are still waiting for additional contributions to fully implement the project. The plan is to launch operations in the first semester of 2025, ensuring that participants have access to the necessary resources to start their training and production.
We are committed to making this project a reality and deeply appreciate the generosity of those who have already contributed. The impact of this initiative goes beyond just employment—it provides dignity, confidence, and opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to actively participate in society.
We remain optimistic and look forward to starting in early 2025, making a meaningful difference in the lives of our beneficiaries.
Thank you for your support!
