Dear valued supporter,
It is our hope that this update finds you well and in good health.
Badili Zone Organization continues to champion for quality education. Our pilot project at Mukuru Kwa Reuben slum has been functioning as expected since the launch of this fundraiser. The situation is still the same where the computer skills sessions have been put on hold due to the limited spacing, however, students get one-on-one assistance when need be whenever they are using the computers.
Since our last report have been introducing ourselves and the fundraiser to some of the companies near our pilot community. So far, we have been able to get a site visit from a team from Isuzu East Africa, a visit that led to in depth discussions and sharing of our proposal. We are yet to hear from them how best we can work together.
Unfortunately, we have not received any more donations for the fundraiser since the last report. That being the case, we are exploring better and more efficient ways of raising more funds. The Basic Kit Program with our two pioneer students in partnership with Laser Property Services is still on going. This program that ensures needy but bright students have their school shopping covered for them to be comfortable enough to maximize their academic potential.
Finally, recently received another set of books (textbooks and novels) from a group of people who preferred to stay anonymous.
