Children across Southern Africa will be returning to school. There is a need for school shoes, uniforms and stationery. Many children walk long distances to school and a comfortable pair of shoes is a necessity. HOPE Africa raises funds annually to support many vulnerable children across Southern Africa.
Southern Africa has high levels of poverty and many communities struggle with the everyday basic needs of food and shelter. Having to provide school shoes , a uniform, stationery and books is for some parents a luxury that cannot be afforded. Every child deserves an education as it is the key to rising out of poverty.
By providing children with school shoes, uniform and school supplies, it will increase the attendance of children at school. There will be relief on the burden of parents, who are unemployed to provide these basic essentials for school going children.
