Challenge

Many children of migrant workers and low-income families, school supplies are a luxury they cannot afford. They walk into classrooms empty-handed, feeling excluded, unprepared, and discouraged. Without these basic tools, migrant children struggle to keep up, lose confidence, and risk dropping out. A school kit can give them the dignity and motivation to attend school regularly and participate fully. It's more than just stationery - it's a symbol of belonging, hope, and opportunity.

Solution

This campaign aims to provide school kits to 1393 government school-going children who come from underprivileged and migrant backgrounds. Each kit contains a bag, stationery items such as pens/pencils, a geometry box, crayons and notebooks, a lunch box and a water bottle. Without these basic tools, migrant children struggle to keep up, lose confidence, and risk dropping out. A school kit can give them the dignity and motivation to attend school regularly and participate fully.

Long-Term Impact

Providing school kits empowers underprivileged and migrant children to stay in school, reducing dropout rates and promoting long-term educational continuity. With the right tools, children gain confidence, build learning habits, and are more likely to complete their education, paving the way for better livelihood opportunities and breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty. Donate now, and as a thank you, receive our book of real migrant stories- "Million Migrants, Million Dreams".
