Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your support toward the Baby Formula for 87 Teenage Mothers in Lagos Slums project. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated. However, the donations received so far are not enough to begin the project yet, and more support is still needed.
Many teenage mothers living in Lagos slum communities continue to face serious hardship caused by poverty, poor access to healthcare, and lack of stable support systems. Rising food prices and limited income make it difficult for many young mothers to provide proper nutrition for their babies, increasing the risk of malnutrition, illness, and poor infant growth.
Without urgent nutritional support, many infants remain vulnerable to preventable health complications during a very important stage of development.
This project is designed to provide baby formula and basic infant feeding guidance for 87 teenage mothers living in vulnerable Lagos communities, including Makoko, Iwaya, Agege/Orile, and Ajegunle. The support will help mothers feed their babies more safely and reduce nutrition-related health risks.
With the right support, more babies can receive better nutrition, improve their health outcomes, and gain a healthier start to life, while young mothers receive support to regain stability and continue building their futures.
We remain grateful for the support received so far and hopeful that additional donations will make it possible to begin this important maternal and child nutrition support project soon.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
