Therapy and Food for children with Autism in Kenya

I hope you’re doing well.

I wanted to share a little update on the difference your support is helping make through our Therapy and Food for Children with Autism in Kenya project.

At Step Up 4 Autism, we continue to support 50 children every week with occupational, speech and play therapy. These sessions help children develop important life skills, improve communication, express themselves and become more confident in their daily lives.

But we also know that therapy alone is not always enough. Many families in low-income communities struggle to afford basic needs, including nutritious food, while trying to ensure their children receive the care they need. That is why we continue to emphasize the importance of proper nutrition alongside therapy.

Progress may look different for every child, and sometimes it comes through small steps that mean the world to a parent or caregiver. Every opportunity a child gets to learn, communicate and grow matters.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for being part of this journey. Your past support means more than you may realize. It helps sustain the work we do and reminds us that, together, we can make essential services more accessible to children who need them most.
