Dear Friend,
Thanks to the continued generosity of our supporters, Step Up 4 Autism has reached an important milestone over the past three months. We have expanded our free therapy program from serving 30 children each week to 50 children each week at our Mathare Therapy Centre. These children, most of whom come from low-income communities, now have increased access to occupational, speech, and play therapy services that were previously beyond the reach of their families.
Alongside therapy, our nutrition support program has continued to grow. More families are now participating in our bi-monthly food distribution, and we have seen a significant increase in community awareness about the important role nutrition plays in supporting children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Parents and caregivers are increasingly seeking information on healthy diets, early intervention, and consistent therapy, helping create a stronger support network within the community.
As demand for our services continues to rise, we expect to reach even more children and families during the next reporting period. The growing number of referrals and community engagement gives us confidence that, with your continued support, we will be able to expand both our therapy and nutrition programs to serve many more vulnerable families in the months ahead. Thank you for making this progress possible.
Kind Regards,
Ruth Tenai
President
