Australia is experiencing an unprecedented bushfire crisis which is devastating communities across the country. Foodbank plays a key role in times of emergency and natural disaster and relies on the generosity of individuals and corporations to assist in funding its food relief efforts. Foodbank is seeking support to proactively source and manufacture products to satisfy the burgeoning demand for food relief influenced by the bushfires.

For every $1 you donate, Foodbank is able to provide $6 worth of supplies to affected communities thanks to our partnership with the food and grocery sector. Foodbank will continue to undertake the crucial role of coordinating with agencies and charities to deliver exactly what is needed, when and where it's needed, in order to efficiently and effectively support the emergency and recovery efforts of the Australian bushfire crisis.

Long-Term Impact

The scale of the current food relief challenge presented by the Australian bushfire crisis is significant, widespread and will require long term support. Foodbank is committed to supporting people and communities during the months and years that it takes to recover. Foodbank will also continue to assist drought-affected communities both within and beyond bushfire-devastated regions as well as maintain regular food relief services to the 815,000 Australian's that it serves each month nationwide.
