Celebrating YOU and our growing Community!

By Abby Robinson | Chief Strategy Officer | Alumna Class 2 (USA)

Hello!

Over the past two years, you have remained by our side through the uncertainties, celebrated with us in our accomplishments, and–since launching our #AtlasCorps2025 strategic plan–continue to strive with us into the future. Now that we’re halfway through 2022, I’d like us to take a moment to celebrate you by showing how much you’ve inspired our Community of Superheroes.

Since we last spoke…

Your support helped us grow our Global Community to 1,400+ social change leaders from 115 countries!

  • In May, we welcomed our second year of 50 Hilton Prize Scholars from 31 countries, which includes the three new countries of Lesotho, New Zealand, and Portugal. We are thrilled to continue our collaboration with the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. Learn more at 2022 Hilton Humanitarian Prize Laureate Leadership Institute
  • In April, we welcomed Class 45, which includes 7 Fellows from India, Nigeria, El Salvador, Indonesia, and Rwanda.
  • In February, we welcomed our Cohort 8 of the Virtual Leadership Institute, which includes 36 Scholars from Côte d’Ivoire, India, Singapore, and the Northern States of Brazil.

And our Community continues to grow with these new and exciting opportunities!

  • Atlas Corps is hiring! - We seek Development Manager, Individuals & Events - Partnerships Senior Manager -Talent Acquisition Manager. Learn more at (and SHARE!) at https://atlascorps.org/join-the-team/
  • Fellow Recruitment - Our deadline is June 22, 2022, to apply to the Atlas Corps Fellowship. Please find the posting materials here.

Your support helped our Superheroes inspire positive impact across the globe!

  • Fellow Lorna (Class 43, Kenya) is the Project Management Fellow at her Host Organization, Luminate. Her supervisor Laura Bacon, the Director of Partner support, describes Lorna as multi-faceted and an invaluable asset to her team: “We will be using Lorna’s project management and knowledge management systems for the foreseeable future. Our program needed professionalization, and she has provided that. The insights that she will provide, based on her assessment of our coaching stipend, will benefit all of our programmatic staff.”
  • Alumna Raiza (Class 27, Philippines) is the Program Excellence Manager at the Pilipinas Shell Foundation. She thanks YOU for providing her with the skills and resources to continue her development work in vulnerable sectors and communities: “I am truly grateful to the volunteers, donors, and Board of Directors for supporting Atlas Corps and development workers like me. Your time, energy, expertise and resources provide us with this great space for learning exchange and self-discovery. Thank you, you don’t only help us develop our full potential but you also extend that help to our communities.
  • I encourage you to stay updated on our Superheroes by visiting our blog, where you can also read more about Lorna’s and Raiza’s inspiring work.

I truly cannot express enough the impact your ongoing support has on our Community, and we are happy to have you by our side as we move forward into the future!

Cheers-

Abby
