Your are now part of UCESCO Africa family, Thank you so much.
Because of your generosity, compassion, and belief in our mission, we are thrilled to share the remarkable success of our very first free medical outreach in Mombasa, Kenya.
In just 48 hours, 1,098 children, women, men, and elderly people received free, quality healthcare—many of whom had gone months or even years without access to essential medical services. Behind every number is a person, a family, and a story of renewed hope.
A New Chapter for UCESCO Africa
This outreach marked an exciting milestone for UCESCO Africa as we expanded our "Pamoja kwa Afya Bora" (Together for Better Health) initiative to Kenya's coastal region. What began as a vision has now become a reality thanks to supporters like you.
Working in partnership with Mother Amadea Mission Hospital, Mikindani, our dedicated team of healthcare professionals, volunteers, and community leaders came together with one shared purpose, to ensure that vulnerable families could receive medical care regardless of their financial circumstances.
The response from the community was overwhelming. Long before sunrise, families were already waiting patiently, hopeful that someone cared enough to bring healthcare closer to them. Thanks to your support, we were able to say "yes."
Services Provided
Throughout the two-day outreach, patients received a wide range of essential healthcare services, including:
General medical consultations
Health screening and diagnosis
Treatment for common illnesses
Maternal and child healthcare support
Blood pressure and blood sugar screening
Health education and preventive care
Prescription medication provided free of charge
Referrals for specialised treatment where necessary
For many patients, this was their first interaction with a healthcare professional in a long time. Early diagnosis and treatment will help prevent many conditions from becoming life-threatening.
More Than Medical Care
Beyond treating illnesses, your support restored dignity and hope.
We witnessed elderly patients who had silently lived with chronic pain finally receiving treatment. Mothers were able to access healthcare for their children without worrying about the cost. Families learned practical ways to prevent disease and improve their health.
Every consultation, every prescription, and every reassuring conversation reminded us that healthcare is not simply about medicine, it is about compassion, respect, and human connection.
Partnership That Made It Possible
We are deeply grateful to Mother Amadea Mission Hospital and Conexus MedStaff, USA for opening their doors and partnering with us in serving the Mikindani community. This collaboration laid a strong foundation for future medical outreaches along Kenya's Coast.
To Our Incredible Volunteers
To every doctor, nurse, clinical officer, pharmacist, laboratory professional, medical student, and community volunteer—thank you.
Your commitment, professionalism, and willingness to serve transformed lives. Whether organising patient flow, dispensing medication, registering patients, or simply offering words of encouragement, every contribution mattered.
We are especially proud of the UCESCO Africa team whose careful planning, logistics, coordination, and resilience ensured the outreach ran smoothly despite every challenge encountered.Your dedication continues to inspire us.
To Our Donors
This success belongs to you.
Your donations purchased medicines, medical supplies, screening equipment, transportation, and the countless resources needed to make this outreach possible.
Although many of you may never meet the patients whose lives you touched, please know that your kindness travelled thousands of kilometres to reach families who needed it most.
Thank you for believing that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare.
Looking Ahead
This successful pilot outreach confirmed something we have always believed: the need for free healthcare in coastal Kenya is enormous.
Encouraged by the incredible community response, UCESCO Africa is committed to expanding future medical camps in Mombasa and surrounding communities. We hope to reach even more patients through longer outreach programmes, additional specialist services, stronger local partnerships, and continued volunteer engagement.
With your continued support, we can build on this momentum and ensure that even more vulnerable families receive life-changing medical care.
Thank You
From every patient who walked away healthier…
From every child who smiled after receiving treatment…
From every grateful family…
Thank you.
Together, we are proving that compassion has no borders and that collective generosity can transform lives.
We look forward to sharing many more stories of hope with you as we continue bringing healthcare to underserved communities across Kenya.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Kingsley and the UCESCO Africa Team
"Together for Better Health. Together for Lasting Impact."
