Children in these communities suffer from preventable diseases, and elderly individuals live with unmanaged chronic conditions. Many women cannot access maternal care, and Mothers go into labor without skilled care. Some give birth on the floors of their homes. Others deliver on the roadside while desperately trying to reach a hospital miles away. Too often, these journeys end in heartbreak -lives lost that could been saved. For most households, medical treatment is a luxury they cannot afford
UCESCO Africa will deploy volunteer medical teams to deliver: Free Medical consultation and diagnosis, Free essential medicines, maternal and Child health services, Chronic diseases screening (hypertension, diabetes), Minor procedures and wound care, Immunization and Nutrition assessments, Health education and preventive care awareness. We invite volunteers, donors, foundations, Corporations, and partners to support this life-saving initiative through financial contributions or Medical supplies
5,000 patients treated, Early detection of chronic illnesses, reduced preventable childhood diseases, improved maternal health access, increased health awareness, and fostering community resilience. In addition to providing immediate clinical care, the initiative is establishing a sustainable framework for long-term health by bolstering local health capabilities.
