A day of exchange and growth
By Michael Rabot | Project Leader
As part of the Art for Our Future initiative, we recently organized a pedagogical outing for participants from the Fortified Learning Environment (FLE) Unit, including tutors, community mentors, and school coordinators. This event, held at Lakaz Flanbwayan, provided an enriching opportunity for personal renewal and professional reflection.
The day was dedicated to encouraging meaningful discussions on their practices, sharing experiences, and exploring ways to enhance their educational approach. The serene and inspiring environment of Lakaz Flanbwayan greatly contributed to this moment of growth.
One of the unique aspects of Facilit'Art is the integration of empowering and participatory approaches throughout the program. Participants are encouraged to experience and assimilate these methods on an ongoing basis, ensuring a true transformation in their educational practices. This comprehensive program aims to prepare the participants of the FLE Unit to create enriching and inclusive learning environments, where every child can flourish.

Introduction of conversational cards.
By Michael Rabot | Project Leader
We recently organized a test activity at our premises to introduce conversational cards, followed by engaging artistic workshops.
Conversational cards are discussion cards designed for children and their parents. Each set of cards addresses an essential value or skill, often overlooked but crucial for children's personal and social development. In a context where social and emotional skills are increasingly sidelined, our cards aim to restore these skills to their rightful place. By engaging in deep and meaningful conversations, we hope to encourage personal expression, strengthen family bonds, and develop key skills in children.
The artistic activities that followed were a highlight, offering participants, both children and their parents, an opportunity to learn about each other and enjoy quality time together. Through creative expression, they could bond and share experiences in a fun and relaxed environment. The feedback from participants was very positive. For example, a child expressed the importance of "listening more to their parents, brother, and sister," while a mother noted the need to "be more attentive and available." Others mentioned improvements such as "improving patience and listening" and "implementing more teamwork." These testimonials highlight the positive impact of both our conversational cards and the artistic activities, encouraging us to continue in this direction.

The capacity of art to arouse emotions.
By Michael Rabot | Project Leader
We, NGOs, attach great importance to the Rights of the Child, because we firmly believe that it is essential that children know their rights and that adults protect and respect them. We see these children as the citizens of tomorrow, and we strive to create a future where they can thrive.
To raise children’s awareness of freedom of expression, TIPA uses art as an interactive medium. We offer children a space for expression and involve them in the design of activities for them and their neighbourhood.
This year, TIPA wishes to highlight art and culture as part of the awareness of children’s rights. We plan to collaborate with local artists to design and realize an artistic work. This creation will be entirely made from recycled materials and natural pigments, in an eco-responsible approach.
Through artistic workshops and collaborations with artists, parents, children and educators, we seek to disseminate knowledge about children’s rights, with a particular focus on freedom of expression. By fostering collective commitment to the protection of these rights, our goal is to create a better and more inclusive future where every child can flourish and make their voice heard, thus becoming active citizens.
