Still Raising Funds to bring Art to Cajola

By Caryn Maxim | Executive Director, Grupo Cajola in North America

Marlon's newest collaboration with the weavers
Marlon's newest collaboration with the weavers

We are planning to bring Marlon Davila to Cajolá in February 2026 to teach these art classes -- we still need to raise funds! Marlon continues to work with Grupo Cajolá in many ways. We can see the impact of his work -- when we opened a new library for our youth, there was a request for a book about Van Gogh!!

Right now Marlon is working on a second collaboration with the weavers. He has painted images inspired by his visit last April and the weavers are weaving textile "frames" for the portraits.

The youth of Cajolá deserve to explore art to enrich their lives.

Please continue to support this project!

Thank you

Caryn
