Second Quarter Report 2025

By Luz C. Pro | Founder and director

Dear GlobalGiving donors,

With enthusiasm, we share with you the second quarterly report of 2025 for our program Art&Neuroscience: 250 vulnerable Mexican children, focused on empowering children and adolescents through art.

Thanks to your generous support, we have made significant progress in implementing workshops and artistic activities that are creating a positive and tangible impact in the lives of the girls, boys, and adolescents who participate in the program.

The Arte Pro team deeply thanks you for the trust you have placed in this project, as well as the exemplary commitment of our volunteers, who contribute with dedication and sensitivity to each activity.

Below, we share with you the most relevant achievements from April to June 2025.

Implementation of a new program

Thanks to the collaborative work between psychologists, artists, and educators, we have started the implementation of our new ArtePro Program, focused on strengthening the empowerment of girls, boys, and adolescents through art and the development of skills and competencies. This program includes continuous measurement through surveys at the beginning and end of each program, allowing us to evaluate the impact of our interventions consistently.

Achievements of the ArtePro Program

We carried out various artistic and socio-educational activities with girls, boys, and adolescents, strengthening their skills and competencies, such as:

  • Strengthening self-esteem: They recognized and represented their personal strengths through collages and personal emblems.

  • Emotional expression through art: They used different artistic techniques to express emotions, feelings of joy, resilience, and hope.

  • Building a sense of identity: They reflected on their life stories, their bodies as sources of strength, and their ability to create and transform.

  • Resilience skills: They identified internal sources of strength during difficult moments, recognizing their capacity to overcome emotional challenges.

  • Group cohesion: Through collective murals, exhibitions, and symbolic galleries, they strengthened their sense of belonging and mutual recognition.

  • Creative development: They showed originality in their artworks, enjoyed exploring techniques, and improved their self-confidence when sharing their creations in group spaces.

Expansion of the program to new schools

With the goal of extending the positive impact of the program, we have brought our activities to new schools. This expansion allows more children and adolescents to access the ArtePro Program, which promotes their empowerment and integral development.

Closing of the ArtePro Program

With the end of the school year in Mexico, we also completed another stage of our ArtePro Program. To celebrate, we held an open class where the girls and boys shared with their tutors the experiences, learnings, and creations they made during the program. It was a moment full of joy and gratitude for the children, their families, and our team.

Now, we start the new school year with enthusiasm, welcoming new participants who are ready to continue learning and growing through art.

Quantitative achievements April – June 2025

  • 102 girls, boys, and adolescents participated in our activities.
  • 30 workshops conducted according to the ArtePro Program.
  • 36 volunteers participated actively.

We are deeply grateful to share these achievements with you, showing how your generosity has transformed the lives of the children who participate in our program. Your support and trust are essential to making this a reality.

On our part, we reaffirm our commitment to continue working with dedication to empower children through art and to accompany them in their integral human development.

With gratitude,
The Arte Pro Team
