To our appreciated GlobalGiving donors,
With great excitement, we share our second report on the project "Art & Neuroscience: 250 Vulnerable Mexican Children" detailing the progress we have achieved thanks to your generous contributions. The internal team at Arte Pro is deeply grateful for the steadfast support we have received for our work. Through your generosity, we have been able to effectively implement our program of artistic workshops for vulnerable children, making a positive impact on the lives of both direct and indirect beneficiaries we care for each day. We also appreciate the dedication of our volunteer team, which has shown profound responsibility to our children.
We would like to share with you some of our most important achievements between February and June 2024 and remind you that our annual reports are available on our website (https://www.artepro.mx/reports/):
- Workshop Program: We expanded our program by offering high-quality workshops led by professionals in art, science, technology, and the environment.
- 10th Anniversary of Arte Pro: To celebrate 10 years of empowering vulnerable children, we hosted over six fundraising events and a party with more than 85 guests, including children, volunteers, and collaborators. The event featured workshops, games, music, dancing, food, and desserts.
- Expansion of Collaborators and Consultants: We have grown our network of specialists in mental health, psychology, and neuroscience, continually enhancing our methodology, impact assessments, and academic partnerships.
- Psychological Assessments: Following initial assessments of the cognitive, social, and emotional states of the children in our program, we developed a series of activities tailored to their needs. Our meticulous session documentation has successfully promoted the socio-cognitive development of the children, focusing particularly on attention, memory, cooperation, and emotional regulation, which are essential for comprehensive and healthy childhood development.
February–June 2024:
- 95 children cared for
- 19 workshops
- 9 visits to art galleries or natural spaces
- 125 alliances with companies, collaborators, and projects
- 58 volunteers
- 7 fundraising events
We are honored to be able to share these achievements with you and demonstrate the impact that your generosity has had on the lives of our beneficiaries. Without your continued support, none of this would be possible. We look forward to your continued support in the future as we continue to work to ensure that all children have access to artistic opportunities that enable them to reach their full potential.
With gratitude,
The team and all the children of Arte Pro
