While the day-to-day learning experiences for our students are outstanding, the breath of what we do outside the classroom is staggering. Our mission, which is to nurture each child's unique potential, is achieved, to a significant degree, through the vast number of clubs and extra-curricular programmes and activities that we offer. Many of these are supported by our Annual Fund. We cannot maintain the vast range of these without your help: a gift, large or small, makes an immediate difference.
A gift to our Annual Fund is a green light for a student or teacher project which feeds curiosity and brings joy. We cannot support the dazzling range of proposed projects each year, and so our Annual Fund steps into this breach. Each year we hope to receive gifts of around $125,000: with this we can make the 'The BST Difference'. That is, the opportunity for every child to develop self-esteem and expertise and to thrive through the joy of learning, be it skateboarding, live theatre or robotics.
Our students have a love of learning that stays with them for the rest of their lives. We hope they will be confident young people with a strong sense of self, built around purpose and passion. Identifying what they love, bidding for it, making it happen and organising the project helps to develop a range of real-world skills.
