As Covid restrictions continue worldwide our Atlas Asia team have continued to create some brilliant virtual challenges to raise money for the projects in Asia.
On 1st March 2021, just under 200 insurance executives from 7 countries across Asia kick-started the inaugural ‘Le tour de ICB 2021’ (Insurance Circuit Breaker) challenge.
Complying with strict COVID-19 requirements, cyclists (both virtually and on the road) will be taking part in a number of challenges throughout March to raise money for the children at the Khelo Rugby project in India. Atlas Foundation supports the Jungle Crows with the Khelo project in 35 locations in Kolkata and North Bengal, benefiting nearly 2,000 children each week. We spoke to Ben Nicholson about the idea of ‘Le tour de ICB 2021’ supporting Jungle Crows and he had this to say:
“At Jungle Crows, Paul Walsh has created one of the most inspirational stories I have come across.. What they achieve with the poor and disadvantaged children of Kolkota and now elsewhere is almost beyond my comprehension. I am thrilled to see that you are all supporting the Jungle Crows and Khelo Rugby through Le Tour de ICB 2021. I hope that you will all be inspired to continue to support their amazing work. Now get pedaling!”
Wishing the team the very best of luck.
