Our Huni Kuin brothers and sisters from Acre received a second batch of seeds to be planted thanks to the generous donations of our sponsors.
Some plants are already bearing fruit after planting the first batch of seeds, such as pepper and corn. Watermelon seedlings are starting to develop.
Other plants in the garden are sprouting and being lovingly cared for.
Food autonomy is fundamental for the autonomy of native peoples who are threatened by the white culture that exploits wood, minerals and deforestation for cattle grazing.
We thank our donors and friends supporting the Amazon Forest since it's our indigenous people who keep the forest standing.
May the Amazon be in Peace!
