Thanks to your support, Washington STEM has been able to continue its mission to advance science, technology, engineering, and math education in Washington state. To date, we've been able to reach 25,000 students, 900 teachers, and support over 58 innovative projects that lift up and advance STEM education, especially for those most underserved and underrepresented in Washington.
The last 90 days have seen incredible growth at Washington STEM, as we've taken a breath to come together around our new goals for 2013, highlighting a focus on teachers and collective action. In the new year, our organization will be taking curriculum instruction to the next level, putting ourselves behind knowledge generation. As well, we will be throwing ourselves 100% into our STEM Network strategy - activating networks around the state to support partnerships between industry, educators, and community.
We look forward to incredible work and incredible change in the next 18 months - with a new governor who has pledged to stand behind STEM education and a landscape full of opportunity to give students a ticket to the future through STEM.
Thank you for making our work possible, thank you for being a part of the movement for a better future, thank you for passing along the power of STEM.
Sincerely,
Gillia Lambert
