In 2018 Washington STEM continues to drive meaningful, equity driven, systems-change work in STEM education throughout Washington. Your support is a significant reason why we’re able to do what we do.

One of these ways we’re helping bring about meaningful change for Washington’s students is through our support of the Eastern Washington Computer Science Consortium. The consortium is made up of all four Eastern Washington Educational Service Districts. These ESD leaders have come together to share resources, best practices, and key learnings from district-wide implementation of high-quality computer science education, with an emphasis on rural communities, students of color, and young women.

Washington STEM continues to provide technical and communications support to bolster the effectiveness of the Eastern Washington Computer Science Consortium. By building localized computer science workshops for education leaders, providing the educational and technical expertise needed to connect to other leaders across the state, and telling the stories that matter most, we can amplify the impact of our partners. Without your support, that impact would never be felt.

From the entire Washington STEM team, we thank you for your ongoing support of equity, access, and opportunity in STEM education.
