Let us tell you about the story of Gaspar & Karools. Gaspar joined our family in 2010. He has a bad injury in his tail that impacts his ability to climb and balance, so he no longer has a tail. Karools joined DAKTARI in October 2023 to keep company to Gaspar, after Tiki, another meerkat, sadly passed away due to old age. Karools came from a meerkat sanctuary, and has a beautiful relationship with Gaspar! These meerkats are part of a new family, the DAKTARI Team, and we want to welcome you to it
The funds from symbolic adoptions help pay for their food, maintenance of their camp, veterinary services, including routine health check-ups, vaccinations, treatments for illnesses or injuries, and other medical interventions. Additionally, this support will contribute to the daily enrichment activities for Karools and Gaspar.
