Let us tell you about the story of our meerkat. Karools joined DAKTARI in October 2023 to keep company to Gaspar who died of old age unfortunately in June 2024. Karools came from a meerkat sanctuary and has a beautiful relationship with all of us at DAKTARI. As he was lonely, four other orphaned meerkats were transferred to keep Karool entertained. They have now form a new family and we want to welcome you to it.
The funds from symbolic adoptions help pay for their food, maintenance of their camp, and veterinary services, including routine health check-ups, vaccinations, treatments for illnesses or injuries, and other medical interventions. Additionally, this support will contribute to their daily enrichment activities. The goal of these is to stimulate their curiosity and to provide them with the most natural habitat possible.
