ActiLearn 1.0 is a groundbreaking educational initiative designed to transform the learning experience for students by the New Education Policy of 2020. This report highlights the key features of ActiLearn 1.0, its implementation, and the invaluable feedback from educators.

Why ActiLearn 1.0?

ActiLearn 1.0 is an evolutionary educational resource for several compelling reasons:

  • Alignment with National Educational Policy:  ActiLearn 1.0 incorporates making and observation activities, aligning seamlessly with the objectives of the New Education Policy, 2020.
  • Accessibility in Pandemic:  During the pandemic, ActiLearn 1.0 proved to be an invaluable resource, providing students with opportunities for self-learning in challenging times.
  • Engagement: With over 45 engaging activities designed to span more than 50 hours, ActiLearn1.0 keeps students motivated and curious.
  • NCERT Curriculum:  The activities in ActiLearn 1.0 have been thoughtfully crafted to harmonize with the NCERT curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience.
  • Promoting Self-Learning:  ActiLearn 1.0 encourages students to Do, Observe, Experiment, Explore, Question, and Discover, fostering a sense of independence in their learning journey.
  • Interactive Format: Each workbook includes QR codes for further exploration and in-depth understanding of topics, promoting interactive learning.
  • Templates:  ActiLearn 1.0 provides user-friendly templates for constructing models, and enhancing hands-on learning experiences.
  • Shift in Attitude:  Students who engage with ActiLearn 1.0 develop newfound confidence in their skills, paving the way for a brighter educational future.

Implementation:

The ActiLearn 1.0 workbooks have been distributed across multiple locations, including Gandhi Nagar, Lucknow, and Daman. We distributed 572 workbooks to four schools from April to June 2023. These workbooks are specifically intended for students in grades 6 to 9 in Gujarati and Hindi medium schools. Our initiative began with detailed orientations for both school teachers and students, ensuring the correct usage and understanding of the benefits of ActiLearn 1.0.
