Eleven (11) years old Poulomi* from deep Sundarbans village Mahabatnagar village is a student of 4th standard in our model school at Nandakumarpur village- ‘Kishalaya Sishu Siksha Niketan’. A little exuberant Poulomi* got admitted to this school just this year (2022).
She got introduced to Computer this year (2022) only, but has picked up many operations quiet fast- Creating Word File and then writing something on it is a big surprise and enjoyment to her. Another interesting application for her is the Paints – this has stirred the Artist within her. Now she draws her dreams in the Computer.
Gradually she is becoming comfortable and accustomed in handling the Taskbar, Screen Saver etc.
For her father Mahadev*, who is a marginal farmer, it is nearly an impossible dream. He is now gradually thinking of a brighter future for his daughter and wants her to be self-reliant.
